—The Arkansas Minority Health Commission (AMHC) will host a
community health fair on Saturday, Oct. 29 in partnership with the Sebastian County branch of the
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and Baptist Health.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. James Missionary Baptist Church at 4916 High Street in
Fort Smith, Arkansas. Attendees will be offered free health screenings including A1C, blood pressure,
bone density, glucose, CPR demonstrations, mammogram education, and information about strokes and
heart attacks
